RECYCLING
Recycle your old computer. We need your old computer.
Or perhaps donate some of your time. A local group is
working to rebuild older computers and donate them to worthy
causes. They have donated many units in the Tri-City area.
We will take your old computer, working or not. And you
can even call us for computer pickup. No monitors or
printers though - they should be taken to the Disabled American
Veterans store at 730 N. 5th Street, Prescott.
Map The DAV will
recycle equipment which would otherwise be thrown out.
We could also use your help rebuilding older computers. All we do is clear the hard
drive and install Windows. The operation is easier than it
sounds, there is never any pressure, and when you go to sleep at
night, you can relax knowing that you’ve had a day well-spent!
Plus, with your hands-on experience, it's a great way to learn
how your computer works.
Please contact former PCS member Bruce Stull at 541-1373
for further information on donating your old computer to the
cause.
For info regarding recycling centers in the local area, please
see this list produced by the Westcor Prescott Gateway Mall.
