JIM PERRY'S "INTERESTING STUFF"

I'm having another try at the Interesting Stuff Blog. My last
effort, using Evernote, was less than successful. It seems that most
of you aren't interesting in getting the information in that manner.
So, you can now receive the information four different ways,
depending upon what suits your browsing style:
Read the Blog
Subscribe to emails from the Blog, either daily or weekly
Subscribe to an RSS
feed of the Blog
Subscribe to a
Twitter feed of the Blog
I hope that one of these methods will get the information to you in
a manner you can use.
Following are details of the way to use each method.
I would appreciate feedback from you if you decide to use the
Interesting Stuff Blog information. Please let me know which
technique you are using. If you think the information is not of use
to you, I'd also like to know that, too.
Jim Perry

Read the Blog
This is probably the most straightforward way. Entries are kept 10 to a
page, and are tagged with a subject. Go to Posterous
here.
The easiest way to use the Blog is set it up as a standard tab in your
browser that starts up when you open the browser. You would then
periodically, at least daily, check the tab for any new entries. You will
need to reload the tab to get the new information.
The advantages of this method are:
The information is nicely formatted.
You can filter on a tag to get information only related to subjects of
interest.
You may want to use this method for the filtering capabilities even if you
normally use one of the other methods to receive your information.

Subscribe to emails from the Blog, either daily or weekly
To receive emails, you must create a Posterous account. Go to Posterous
here.
At the lower left, click on "Subscribe to this Posterous".
At the next screen, select "Signup with Posterous".
Give a name to your site; it doesn't have to be the same as your email
address, and you don't ever actually have to post anything to the site if
you only want to receive email.
You will need to go to your email account and verify your new account. Note:
the password you input into your Posterous site is used for managing your
Posterous account. It is not required for simply receiving email posts.
You are now subscribed to IntStuff.posterous.com. By default, you will
receive a daily summary of the posts. To change it to weekly, go to Manage
Settings, and under Notification Settings, set My Subscriptions.

Subscribe to an
RSS feed of the Blog
Go to Posterous here.
At the lower left, click on "Subscribe via RSS".
A window will open, and you can choose to subscribe via:
Live Bookmarks, My Yahoo, Google, or Choose Application
An entry will be sent to your RSS reader each time an entry is added to the
Blog.

Subscribe to a
Twitter feed of the Blog
From your Twitter account, subscribe to this Twitter feed:
IntStuff.twitter.com
An entry will be made in the IntStuff Twitter account each time an entry is
added to the Blog. The Twitter entry will have the headline of the Blog entry
and a link to the Blog entry if you want to read it.
